Nissan Canada has priced the refreshed 2027 Ariya from $48,998 for the front-wheel-drive SV trim — and with the federal EV Affordability Program rebate of up to $5,000 applied, the effective entry price drops near $44,000, undercutting every Tesla Model Y variant on the market. The crossover arrives at Canadian dealers this fall, even as the Ariya's run ends in the United States.
The 2027 refresh, unveiled earlier this summer, brings a redesigned front end, new wheel designs, extra colours including a Plasma Green two-tone finish, Google built-in infotainment, and — most importantly for road-trippers — a native NACS charge port, letting Ariya owners plug into Tesla's Supercharger network without an adapter.

According to Nissan Canada's announcement, the selling prices include freight, PDI, and other fees. The federal Electric Vehicle Affordability Program (EVAP) rebate of up to $5,000 applies to the SV FWD, pushing its net cost to roughly $47,100 including fees — before any provincial incentives.
Why NACS charging matters now
The native NACS port is the single biggest practical change for Canadian buyers. Until now, Ariya drivers needed a CCS-to-NACS adapter to use Tesla's Supercharger network — Canada's most reliable long-distance charging asset. The 2027 model eliminates that friction, and Nissan joins Kia, Hyundai, GM, and Toyota in shipping NACS-native vehicles as the industry converges on Tesla's plug standard.
For comparison shopping, a Tesla Model Y RWD currently starts at $54,990 in Canada before incentives. The Ariya SV FWD undercuts it by roughly $6,000 at MSRP and by a similar margin after rebates, while offering more conventional SUV ergonomics and the dealer-service network some buyers prefer.
What it means for Canadian buyers
The Ariya's survival in Canada while dying in the U.S. reflects a wider pattern this year: automakers are keeping affordable, mainstream EVs alive in the Canadian market even as they pull back south of the border.
