Tesla Opens an 8-Post V4 Supercharger in Norwood, Ontario — $0.46/kWh for Owners

Tesla has opened a new Supercharger station in Norwood, Ontario, at 4309 Highway 7. The site — a local Circle K — now has eight V4 posts delivering up to 325 kW. Construction was first spotted there in July; the project never appeared on Tesla's official Find Us map before crews started work, making it an unannounced addition to the network.

Pricing

According to Tesla, the station's rates are:

  • Tesla owners: $0.46 per kWh
  • Other EV drivers: $0.64 per kWh, with a NACS adapter required

Part of a wider Ontario build-out

Norwood is not the only Ontario community getting new Superchargers. When construction was first discovered in July, work was also underway on another eight-stall V4 station in Orangeville. Other Ontario stations under construction include sites in Toronto, Port Hope, Hamilton and Madoc — and a new Highway 15 Supercharger in Kingston opened just last week.

For drivers on the Highway 7 corridor, the Norwood station adds a high-power stop between the GTA and western Ontario, and — like the rest of the newer V4 sites — it is open to non-Tesla EVs via the NACS standard.
