Dodge Charger Daytona EV Vanishes From dodge.ca — Here's Why It Isn't Discontinued
The electric Dodge Charger Daytona disappeared from Dodge Canada's website in early November. Stellantis says it's not discontinued — Canadian dealer inventory simply ran out. What that means for buyers waiting on the Scat Pack.
The electric Dodge Charger Daytona is no longer listed on Dodge Canada's website, according to Empty Tank's reporting on November 7. The removal happened in early November, and it's already confusing shoppers browsing dodge.ca who can't find the car at all. The short version: the car is not discontinued — Canadian dealer inventory simply ran out, and the website only shows vehicles currently sitting on dealer lots.
What Stellantis said
Stellantis told Empty Tank that the Charger Daytona was pulled from the Canadian website because dealer inventory of the car is currently out. The site is intended to help customers match with vehicles actually on dealer lots, so an empty lot means no listing. Once Canadian dealers have Charger Daytona inventory again, the car will be restored to the website — though Stellantis did not provide an expected timeline.
What's still available
- Gasoline Charger (SIXPACK): remains fully available in Canada, in two- and four-door form, built at the Windsor plant.
- Electric Daytona R/T: 496 hp two-door — temporarily unlisted while lots are empty.
- Electric Daytona Scat Pack: 670 hp two-door — also unlisted pending restock.
Both the electric and gasoline versions are assembled at Stellantis' Windsor, Ontario plant, so this is purely a distribution hiccup, not a production or tooling issue.
What it means for Canadian buyers
If you're waiting on a 670-hp Scat Pack, the practical move is to call dealers directly and ask about build times — the website being blank tells you nothing about when units ship. The four-door electric Charger, originally expected this year, still hasn't arrived in Canada; only the two-door EV has been offered so far. Until inventory lands, the gasoline SIXPACK remains the only Charger you can actually order through the site.
