November 2026 manufacturer discounts plus the federal EVAP rebate put eight electric vehicles under $41,000 in Canada. The Fiat 500e leads at $29,865 after rebate, followed by the Nissan Leaf S at $33,541. Here's every model and the real numbers.

Cheapest EVs in Canada This November 2026

With fewer than two months left in 2026, Canadian EV shoppers have a short window to take advantage of the full $5,000 federal EVAP rebate before it steps down to $4,000 on January 1. Several automakers are stacking manufacturer discounts on top this November, pushing a handful of models well under the $41,000 mark before the rebate is even applied. Here's every new EV that lands under $41,000 in November 2026, based on current manufacturer advertised prices and the federal rebate.

The November 2026 value list

The following prices reflect base-model MSRP plus estimated destination fees and levies, minus any active November manufacturer discount, then minus the $5,000 EVAP rebate (calculated at the Ontario 13% HST-equivalent before-tax equivalent of $4,425). Prices may vary by province and dealer.

Model MSRP Nov. Discount With EVAP
2026 Fiat 500e $39,995 $8,000 $29,865
2027 Nissan Leaf S $34,998 — $33,541
2026 Kia EV4 $38,995 — $37,022
2025 VinFast VF 8 Eco $53,600 $14,000 $38,310
2027 Chevrolet Bolt $39,999 — $39,019
2026 Chevrolet Equinox EV $46,199 $6,000 $39,218
2026 Kia Niro EV $45,595 $4,000 $39,472
2027 Kia EV3 $36,995 — $35,022
2026 Subaru Uncharted $42,995 $5,000 $36,406
2026 Hyundai Kona Electric $43,999 $2,000 $40,519

The standouts

Fiat 500e at $29,865 after rebate is the clear value leader this month. Fiat Canada is taking $8,000 off the base price, which brings the small four-seater to a sub-$30,000 out-the-door figure. Range is modest at an estimated 227 km, but for a city commuter in Toronto or Montreal, that's workable with home charging. The 500e comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a 7-inch driver display, and Uconnect 5 NAV as standard.

The 2027 Nissan Leaf S is the new low-MSRP entry in Canada at $34,998, with the 53-kWh battery delivering an estimated 341 km of range. This is the first time the entry-level Leaf trim is available in Canada after Nissan initially launched only the long-range version. Availability will be limited in the first weeks as dealer stock arrives.

The 2027 Chevrolet Bolt has been redesigned for 2027 with a new drive unit, more power, a native NACS charging port, and an estimated 410 km of range on the front-wheel-drive system producing 210 hp. At $39,019 after the rebate, it's the best range-per-dollar in this group.

The VinFast VF 8 Eco is the surprise of the month. VinFast Canada is clearing 2025 inventory with a $14,000 cash discount, bringing the compact SUV — which produces 349 hp and has an estimated 412 km of range — down to $38,310 after the rebate. The 2026 model year is also available but at a smaller discount.

The Kia EV3, which just launched in Canada, starts at $36,995 before rebates (the subcompact SUV with a 58.3-kWh battery and 356 km of range). Adding the $4,000 long-range upgrade bumps the battery to 81.4 kWh and range to 517 km. After the EVAP rebate, the base EV3 lands at $35,022.

What the EVAP step-down means

The federal Electric Vehicle Affordability Program rebate drops from $5,000 to $4,000 on January 1, 2027. That's a $1,000 swing on the effective price of every eligible model in this list. If you're shopping for a sub-$45,000 EV and the November discounts are still on the lot, the next two weeks are the best window of the year to buy before both the manufacturer incentives and the full federal rebate expire simultaneously.

Provincial programs still stack on top in some regions: PEI and Manitoba offer up to $4,000, Yukon offers $5,000, and Quebec offers $2,000. Ontario and B.C. currently have no provincial EV purchase rebate, which means the federal EVAP is the only incentive for buyers in those provinces.

Prices and discounts verified as of November 6, 2026, and are subject to change. Confirm current offers with your local dealer before visiting.
