Toyota Reveal Five Lifted Woodland Concepts at SEMA — Including the bZ Electric SUV

Toyota Reveal Five Lifted Woodland Concepts at SEMA — Including the bZ Electric SUV

Toyota is showing off a new family of lifted, "adventure-ready" Woodland concepts at the 2026 SEMA Show (November 3), covering five of its most popular nameplates: the RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid, Grand Highlander, Sienna, Crown Signia, and the bZ electric SUV. The concepts were designed by Toyota's North American CALTY Design Research studio and are "designed for drivers who see adventure not as a destination, but a way of life," according to Toyota Canada's press release.

What every Woodland concept shares

  • Horizon Blue exterior paint — inspired by Toyota's 1960s colour palette (Stout, Crown, Corona)
  • Lift kit + large over-fenders
  • Satin-black wheels with all-terrain tires
  • Two-tone paint on roof and hood
  • Roof rack with cross bars
  • Exclusive Woodland badge

The electric one: bZ Woodland

The bZ Woodland Concept "extends the Woodland theme into Toyota's battery-electric future." For Canadian buyers already familiar with the production model: the 2027 Toyota bZ Woodland (sold in Canada from $63,046) gets a dual-motor AWD powertrain with 375 hp — 37 hp more than the standard bZ AWD. The SEMA concept adds the adventure package on top of that drivetrain, though Toyota hasn't revealed any powertrain changes for the concept itself.

Canadian relevance

Toyota Canada is the exclusive distributor for all five of these vehicles. The RAV4 PHEV Woodland and Sienna Woodland concepts show how Toyota's electrified family haulers can take on a more adventurous role — relevant for Canadian owners who use their minivans and crossovers for camping, trail access, and rural commuting where stock suspension and tires fall short. The concepts will be on display starting November 3 at SEMA in Las Vegas.

Toyota didn't reveal whether any of these concepts will become production trims, but the Woodland badge already exists on the production RAV4, bZ, and Grand Highlander in Canada — so the SEMA reveals are a strong signal of where the lineup is heading.
