Tesla Supercharger Payment Kiosks Arrive in Canada
Tesla has begun installing centralized Supercharger payment kiosks in Canada, allowing non-Tesla drivers to pay at the station in Kingston, Ontario.
Tesla’s centralized Supercharger payment kiosks have arrived in Canada. The first units are now live at the Kingston, Ontario Supercharger, where non-Tesla drivers can tap a card and start charging without a mobile app.
What the kiosks change
Until now, Canadian Superchargers relied on the Tesla app or in-car navigation for non-Tesla access via the NACS adapter program. The new kiosks mirror installations in the United States and provide a pay-at-station option for visitors, rental cars, and drivers without a Tesla account.
The terminals are mounted beside the stalls and accept tap-to-pay credit cards. Pricing remains the same as on the app, with dynamic rates shown on the screen before charging begins.
Where to expect them next
Drive Tesla reports the Kingston site is the first Canadian location, with rollout expected at high-traffic corridors along Highway 401 and the Trans-Canada Highway. The kiosks are part of Tesla’s broader effort to open the network to all EVs while maintaining a seamless experience.
