Tesla Supercharger Under Construction in Deschambault, Quebec

Tesla is adding another charging stop along Quebec’s Highway 40, with a new Supercharger now under construction at Restaurant Le Chavigny in Deschambault. The site sits between Trois-Rivières and Quebec City and would fill a gap on the Portneuf corridor.

Site details

The location appeared on Tesla’s Find Us map earlier this week. Le Chavigny announced the start of construction in a Facebook post, confirming it is working with Tesla to bring several fast-charging stalls to the property at 11 Rue des Pins, just off Exit 254.

  • Address: 11 Rue des Pins, Deschambault, QC
  • Expected activation: before end of 2026
  • Stalls: not officially confirmed; an image shared by the restaurant suggests up to 16 stalls

Route context

The restaurant offers highway access and on-site dining, making it a convenient stop for longer drives through the region. Deschambault joins other recent Quebec Supercharger projects, including Montcerf-Lytton, Montreal, and Brownsburg, which also began construction this week.

Tesla recently opened a 24-stall location in Mont-Tremblant on September 29 featuring the company’s 3,000th Canadian Supercharger.

What drivers should know

Construction is underway and timing remains tentative. As with recent sites, official stall count and power level will be confirmed when Tesla updates the location profile.
